This role focuses on developing and maintaining the DBT models and macros based on DQ rules provided by DQ governance team. Responsibilities include:
Developing and expanding the DQ platform based on designs provided by the DQ Architect.
Creating DBT models and macros for DQ rules based on business definitions provided by the DQ Governance team.
Creating and updating the framework (schema design) to meet DQ dashboard levelling requirements specified by the DQ Architect.
Creating and updating data pipelines (DBT models) for DQ checks on source systems, hydrated into EDP data lake.
Writing macros to meet various DQ metric requirements provided by the DQ Architect.
Monitoring performance, optimising data pipelines, and troubleshooting issues across DQ platform components.
Mapping regulatory and audit requirements.
Tools/Technologies: Data Build Tool (library: expectations), Python, AWS, Orchestration tool – Airflow
