Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Pune for a Data Quality Engineer at North Hires. The role involves daily tasks such as analyzing data, communicating insights, testing processes, and implementing automation solutions. Qualifications 3–5 years of hands-on experience in roles like data quality, data analysis, data operations, or related technical fields A background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science , or any discipline that sharpened your analytical thinking Strong understanding of data quality concepts , including accuracy, consistency, completeness, and validation frameworks Comfortable with SQL and Python for data transformation, validation, and exploration Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma) to interpret and present insights effectively Experience working with cloud data platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery Familiarity with modern data transformation tools (e.g., dbt) and version control platforms like GitHub Bonus points if you’ve experimented with Generative AI tools or prompt-based automation workflows Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
