Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Pune for a Data Quality Engineer at North Hires. The role involves daily tasks such as analyzing data, communicating insights, testing processes, and implementing automation solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience

  in roles like data quality, data analysis, data operations, or related technical fields
• A background in

  Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science

  , or any discipline that sharpened your analytical thinking
• Strong understanding of

  data quality concepts

  , including accuracy, consistency, completeness, and validation frameworks
• Comfortable with

  SQL and Python

  for data transformation, validation, and exploration
• Exposure to

  BI tools

  (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma) to interpret and present insights effectively
• Experience working with

  cloud data platforms

  like Snowflake or BigQuery
• Familiarity with modern

  data transformation tools

  (e.g., dbt) and version control platforms like GitHub
• Bonus points if you’ve experimented with

  Generative AI

  tools or prompt-based automation workflows
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in

  agile environments

  and working cross-functionally across teams
