Data Protection Consultant

DPDP- Data Protection Consultant/ Associate Consultant/Senior Consultant( Multiple Positions)

Seeking a skilled DPDP Data Protection Specialist to join our organization. The Data Protection Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with DPDP Act , developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures, and conducting risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures

Engage in Customer Facing Discussion for Privacy Framework control Evaluation

Conduct risk assessments, DPIA to identify potential privacy gaps.

Monitor data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations

Provide training to employees on data protection best practices 

Design and Implement data breaches and security incidents process and procedure.

Design and Implement Data principal rights management process and tools

Work with tech and compliance teams to ensure compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR and DPDPA

Stay up-to-date on data protection laws and regulations and make recommendations for updates to policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in information technology , data protection or information security or relevant domain.

Good understanding of data protection laws and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information with discretion
