• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support healthcare analytics and operational systems.
• Work extensively with IBM Unified Data Model for Healthcare (UDMH) to build scalable and compliant healthcare data solutions.
• Create and manage ER models using industry-standard data modeling tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data models.
• Ensure data models align with relational, dimensional, and normalized modeling techniques.
• Support data warehousing architectures and integration with ETL processes.
• Perform data analysis using SQL to validate models, relationships, and data quality.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and best practices.
• Contribute to data governance initiatives and maintain data consistency across systems.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Modeler or Data Architect.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM UDMH in a healthcare environment.
• Expertise in ER modeling tools.
• Strong SQL skills with a solid understanding of data relationships and transformations.
• In-depth knowledge of relational, dimensional, and normalized data modeling techniques.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  

• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Exposure to big data ecosystems, including Hadoop and Spark.
• Knowledge of data governance, master data management (MDM), and metadata management.
• Experience working with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD, CPT, and related terminologies.

• Healthcare data systems, analytics, and regulatory-compliant data modeling.
