About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (4–5 years) with strong expertise in Databricks, PySpark, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric. The role involves building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data delivery for analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
• Work with Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric to manage large-scale data solutions.
• Perform data modeling, integration, and warehousing for structured and unstructured data.
• Optimize workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, analysts, and BI developers.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Azure Synapse.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and data lake architectures.
• Strong command over SQL, data warehousing, and data modeling techniques.
• Experience working in Azure cloud-based data environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and security practices.
