Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer with 2-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and platforms on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. This role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making through scalable, reliable, and high-performing data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows primarily using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and Data Lake Storage.
• Develop scalable and efficient data ingestion and transformation processes from various structured and unstructured sources.
• Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to support analytics and AI/ML initiatives.
• Implement and maintain data governance, security, and compliance practices within Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data performance, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Automate workflows using Python and Azure services to enhance operational efficiency.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 to 6 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in related data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with core Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Working knowledge of building and optimizing data pipelines, data modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Familiarity with data security, governance frameworks, and cloud compliance standards.
• Experience with SQL, Spark, and distributed data processing frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
