This role requires an analytical mindset, solid SQL and scripting skills, and the ability to work under pressure to resolve incidents and stabilize production workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production data pipelines and ETL jobs.
Perform root cause analysis, log review, and implement preventive measures.
Collaborate with DevOps, DBA, and Data teams to ensure data integrity and performance.
Manage incident tracking, escalation, and post-mortem documentation.
Optimize and maintain monitoring alerts, dashboards, and job health checks.

Required Skills & Experience:

4–6 years of experience in
Data Engineering or Production Data Operations
.
Strong command of
SQL, Python
, and any modern ETL framework (ADF, Databricks, Airflow, or similar).
Experience in
Azure, AWS, or Snowflake
data ecosystems.
Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., Log Analytics, Grafana).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills to coordinate between technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
for data environments.
Experience with
DataOps
and automated job monitoring tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
