Job Description - Data Engineer Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong Azure expertise and hands-on experience in building scalable data solutions
The ideal candi will be proficient in modern data engineering tools, possess strong DevOps and project management capabilities, and bring functional understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes within a B2C environment This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & Platform Development Design, build, and maintain advanced data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and SQL Develop scalable and secure data architectures aligned with business requirements Implement CI/CD practices using GitHub and DevOps tools for automated deployment Optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency across Azure data services Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and security standards Business Process & Domain Integration Leverage medium-level understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, especially in B2C environments covering: o Collections o Credit management o Dispute management o CATI o Customer Master Data Collaborate with business teams to translate process requirements into data engineering solutions Analytics & AI Enablement Support reporting and visualization needs using Power BI Apply foundational Data Science, AI, and LLM concepts to enhance data models and automation Partner with data scientists and analysts to ensure high-quality data delivery Project Management & Collaboration Lead data initiatives from requirement gathering to deployment Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership Provide documentation, status up , and technical guidance where required Required Skills & Experience Qualifications Bachelor s or master s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related fields Advanced Skills Azure Cloud Technologies (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL) DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD SQL programming and optimization Strong project management & communication skills Medium-Level Skills Order-to-Cash (O2C) domain experience in B2C (collections, credit, disputes, CATI) Customer Master Data processes Basic Skills Power BI Data Science fundamentals AI & Large Language Models (LLMs) Beneficial Skills Knowledge of additional languages: German, Spanish, Polish O2C understanding with focus on Order-to-Bill (O2B) and Customer Service Experience in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industries
