Job Description:

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines to support finance data migration from SAP R/3 to S/4HANA
• Work extensively with PySpark and Hadoop-based environments to manage large-scale data processing
• Use Apache Airflow to orchestrate and monitor workflows and ensure pipeline reliability
• Collaborate with data analysts to understand transformation logic and implement data mapping specifications
• Coordinate with the BI reporting team to ensure downstream data readiness and support reporting needs
• Integrate data from SAP and non-SAP sources into AWS-based environments including S3 and Postgres
• Support data validation, functional integration testing, and UAT cycles in partnership with business and QA teams
• Participate in daily stand-ups and cross-regional planning meetings with India- and US-based colleagues
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues, optimize performance, and document technical workflows and logic
• Ensure high levels of data quality, governance, and consistency

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data pipeline development
• Strong experience with PySpark, Hadoop, and distributed data processing frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for at least 2 years, including DAG development and job orchestration
• Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT techniques and best practices
• 2+ years of experience working with AWS, specifically S3, Postgres, and cloud-native data workflows
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across global teams and time zones
• Experience with SAP data, particularly in finance modules (GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, CO), is a plus
