Data Engineer III

Role Overview: You will be joining Bank of America as an AI/ML Platform Engineer, responsible for architecting and building a modern, scalable, and secure Data Science and Analytical Platform. Your role will involve driving end-to-end model lifecycle management, establishing platform governance, and creating foundational infrastructure for developing, deploying, and managing Machine Learning models across on-premise and hybrid cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the architecture and design of scalable, resilient, and secure distributed applications, ensuring compliance with organizational technology guidelines and industry best practices. - Contribute to hands-on coding, building core components, APIs and microservices while maintaining high code quality and performance. - Ensure adherence to engineering excellence standards, compliance with key metrics, and integrate secure development practices. - Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements and mentor team members on best practices. - Develop efficient utilities, automation frameworks, and data science platforms to support ML model building and deployment. - Propose and build various data pipelines and automated deployment pipelines for continuous deployment processes. - Stay updated on open-source and emerging third-party technologies in the AI-ML space and guide the team in day-to-day production issues. - Train partner Data Science teams on frameworks and platforms and support project requirements without night shifts. Qualification Required: - Education: Graduation/Post Graduation in BE/B.Tech/MCA/MTech - Certifications: FullStack Bigdata - Experience Range: 11+ Years - Foundational Skills: Proficiency in Python, microservices, API development, API gateway technologies, observability & monitoring, policy & governance, MLOps expertise, containerization & orchestration, CI/CD practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and data science workbench understanding - Desired Skills: Understanding of security architecture, model serving frameworks, vector databases, data lineage & metadata management, and experience with Hadoop cluster, automation for deployment, RESTful API services, data pipelines, distributed computing, and cloud platforms - Work Timings: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST - Job Location: Chennai, GIFT & Mumbai (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
