Data Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 7-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and optimizing data pipelines, as well as a passion for working with large datasets to drive business insights.

Location : Trivandrum, Kochi, Bangalore

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architecture.
Develop and optimize ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Implement data quality checks and monitor data integrity.
Utilize cloud-based data technologies and services for data storage and processing.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
Experience with data modeling and data architecture design.
