About the Client:

Our client is a UK-based data and AI consultancy helping organisations turn fragmented data into actionable insight, automate reporting, and build scalable data platforms.

Role Overview:

We're looking for a hands-on Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to design, build, and optimise modern data platforms and pipelines. You'll work closely with consultants and clients to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data platforms (Warehouse/Lakehouse, ETL/ELT)
• Ingest, transform, and validate data from multiple sources
• Design scalable data architectures and quality checks
• Create data models and visualisations for insights
• Review third-party data interfaces for accuracy
• Communicate findings and guide best practices across the team

Required Experience:

• 5+ years in Data Engineering / Analytics / ETL roles
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience with Azure or AWS
• Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modelling, and data quality
• Experience with Databricks, Fabric, or similar
• Proficient with Git and modern development workflows
• Comfortable working directly with clients
