Role: Lead Data Engineer Assignment description: About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a cross-functional team and help build and migrate our data solutions onto Google Cloud Platform. You’ll design, deploy, and operationalize data products that power analytics, ML/AI initiatives, and business insights. Key Responsibilities Build & Migrate Data Products Develop new data pipelines and models on GCP using BigQuery and DBT Refactor and migrate existing solutions to leverage GCP best practices Data Integration & Orchestration Sync data from diverse sources via Cloud Functions (Python) Automate infrastructure and workflows using Terraform and Cloud Workflows Collaboration & Architecture Work closely with Solution Architects and Business Experts to define optimal data models Partner with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to deliver scalable, reliable solutions Optional (Nice-to-have) Experience building and maintaining OLAP cubes Experience developing Power BI reports Tech Stack: Cloud: GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Workflows) Data Modeling: DBT Scripting: Python Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Version Control: Git Who You Are: Experienced: 3+ years as a Data Engineer, preferably with GCP Independent & Collaborative: Comfortable driving work on your own and within a diverse team Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills and a pragmatic mindset Communicator: Able to translate complex technical details into clear, actionable plans Required skills: Dbt GCP BigQuery Languages: English (Proficient) Ready for your next career move?
