Zensar Technologies is seeking a meticulous and proactive Video Data Annotation Specialist to support AI and machine learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to accurately label and describe complex video scenarios.
Apply a problem-solving mindset to proactively identify unclear or ambiguous scenarios and escalate appropriately.
Document and explain annotation or data collection decisions, especially in complex or edge-case situations.
Collaborate effectively with team members, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall quality and consistency.
Identify discrete actions within video footage and determine precise start and end timestamps.
Understand and define temporal boundaries between actions (e.g., when one action ends, and another begins).
Labeling Expertise:
Use a strong vocabulary to describe actions using precise verbs (e.g., push, pull, pick, place, move, fold).
Accurately identify and categorize objects, including conducting basic online research (e.g., distinguishing between a cucumber and a zucchini).
Apply spatial reasoning to describe object locations with clarity (e.g., “lower left side of the table” instead of just “table”).
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and annotation guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a willingness to learn technical tools and processes related to data collection.
Data Collection Skillsets:
Operate in both Windows and Ubuntu environments.
Use VSCode for basic file and script handling.
Troubleshoot device connectivity using basic networking knowledge.
Set up hardware such as cameras and trackers.
Read and interpret Python error messages to assist in debugging.
Parse logs to identify relevant error information.
Use basic Git commands (e.g., checkout branches, pull updates).
Wear equipment for extended periods during data collection tasks.
Maintain spatial awareness to ensure accurate camera angles and data integrity.
Review collected data and assessed quality, flagging any potential issues.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical stamina and attention to detail.
Work on innovative projects in the autonomous vehicle domain.
