Job Title:

Data Architect (Commercial Life Sciences)

Location:

Gurugram, Bangalore

Experience:

8-15 Years

Required Skills

  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience as a data architect, with at least 5 years focused on Commercial Life Sciences.
  • Deep knowledge of life sciences commercial data domains such as:
  • Sales data (e.g., IQVIA DDD, Xponent)
  • Claims and prescription data (e.g., Symphony, Komodo)
  • Marketing performance data
  • Customer master and affiliation data (HCP/HCO)
  • CRM/Veeva/Salesforce integrations
  • Expertise in AWS cloud-native tools and designing cloud-first architectures.
  • Proficiency in data modeling techniques (relational, dimensional, data vault, etc.).
  • Experience building modern data platforms using a combination of batch and streaming data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GxP).
  • Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation) is a plus.
  • Experience in data platform modernization or data product design in life sciences.
  • Exposure to tools like Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, Power BI, or Databricks (on AWS).
  • Prior consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect.
