Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced Dashboard Developer to join our Business Insights team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging business insights dashboards to enhance user experience and drive data-informed decisions.

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data visualization, you will be a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring our data assets are transformed into actionable, interactive insights.

In this role, you will:

• Responsibility 1: Design and Develop Interactive Dashboards: Design engaging and interactive business insights dashboards using platforms like Tableau or Data Studio, applying data visualization best practices with a focus on enhancing user interaction and user experience.

• Responsibility 2: Collaborate with Data Teams for Accuracy: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work closely with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) programmers, data engineers, and data analysts to test, clean, and standardize data, ensuring all data sources are accurate, available, and analyzable to meet business requirements.

• Responsibility 3: Ensure Data Integrity and Functionality: Create and edit Structured Query Language (SQL) queries within the visualization tools to build calculated fields, interactive filters, and parameters, ensuring the optimal functionality and workflow of published dashboards.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant hands-on experience in data visualization, including dashboard creation, report authoring, troubleshooting, and data source management with tools like Tableau or Data Studio.

• Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices, focusing on user experience (UX) and the proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable visual insights.

• Proven ability in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management, working with business stakeholders and technical teams across functions to gather requirements and exchange ideas for building quality data products.

• Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills, including the ability to maintain clear work flows and detailed documentation for dashboard functionality.
