Data Analyst

• Translate business requirements into analytical deliverables such as reports, dashboards and ad hoc analyses.


• Write, optimise and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources.


• Build and maintain automated reporting processes and scheduled distributions.


• Validate data and perform quality checks to ensure accuracy of reports.


• Partner with business stakeholders to interpret results and provide actionable insights.


• Document report specifications, data definitions and operational procedures.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase automation and reduce manual processes.


• Respond to ad hoc analysis requests within defined SLAs.

Essential:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.


• 1 4 years experience in reporting/analytics or a related data role (adjustable according to hiring band).


• Strong SQL skills ability to write complex joins, aggregations and window functions.


• Hands on experience with at least one programming or scripting language (Python preferred) for data manipulation and automation.


• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and relational databases.


• Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources.


• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.


• Good communication skills able to present technical findings in business terms.

Desirable:

• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker or equivalent).


• Familiarity with cloud data platforms or data lakes (AWS, Azure, GCP).


• Exposure to financial services domain (asset management, client reporting) is a plus.


• Experience with version control (Git) and ETL tools.
