Data Analyst / Engineering Data Coordinator

Hiring – Engineering Data Analyst (3-Month Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• ✅ Review engineering data in Bluestar PLM / Dynamics 365 for completeness and accuracy
• ✅ Update and correct:
• Item Masters (names, numbers, attributes, units of measure)
• Bills of Materials (BOMs): structure, quantities, phantom levels
• Document links: drawings and CAD file references
• ✅ Align data between CAD files (SolidWorks and Inventor) and ERP fields
• ✅ Remove duplicates and obsolete records following project guidelines
• ✅ Apply correct revision and lifecycle states to records
• ✅ Generate and submit weekly progress reports
• ✅ Identify and report issues or data gaps for resolution

Requirements

• ✔️ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Bluestar PLM (or similar PLM/ERP systems)
• ✔️ Basic familiarity with SolidWorks and Inventor data and file structures
• ✔️ Strong attention to detail and adherence to data quality standards
• ✔️ Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data validation and reporting
• ✔️ Reliable, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines independently
• ✔️ Good communication skills for status updates and issue reporting

Deliverables

• 📦 Cleaned, updated, and validated engineering data in Bluestar PLM / D365
• 📄 Weekly status reports (Excel or PDF format)
• 📝 Summary of unresolved issues and recommendations
