Data Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and results-oriented Business/Data Analyst to join our team and work closely and independently on specific projects. As an independent operator, you will be responsible for delivering set priorities in a timely and diligent manner. Your analyses will serve as the foundation for providing appropriate recommendations to customers to assist them in achieving their objectives. The successful candidate will be adept at converting data into information, information into insights, and insights into business decisions for the assigned projects/clients. Responsibilities will include conducting full lifecycle analysis, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvement opportunities. The primary goal of this position is to take ownership of components within consulting/implementation projects and drive the maximization of value propositions for client organizations. Key Responsibilities: - Define and conduct data and information analysis to generate actionable insights. - Develop a thorough understanding of the customer's business to identify opportunities for improving business performance in assigned areas. - Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports. - Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiencies and quality. - Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain them for actionable usage. - Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. - Clean and filter data for review reports and key performance indicators specific to project or work areas. - Collaborate with the company's management team to prioritize business and information needs. - Identify, define, align, and implement process improvement opportunities. Requirements: - Proven work experience as a Business Data Analyst. - Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation analysis. - Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages. - Proficiency in statistics and experience using statistical tools and packages for data analysis. - Advanced skills in MS Excel & PowerPoint. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate a significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy. - Proficient in queries, report writing, and presenting findings. - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics. - Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. - Proven track record.
