Job Description

Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor security systems, firewalls, and intrusion detection tools for potential threats.
Investigate security incidents and respond to breaches promptly.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses.
Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure systems are updated with patches and fixes.
Provide employee training on cybersecurity awareness.
Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and compliance frameworks.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
3–4 years of experience in cybersecurity monitoring and incident response.
Strong knowledge of SIEM tools, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Relevant certifications (CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP preferred).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
