Cyber Security Engineer

As a Lead - Cloud Security Architect at our company in Mumbai, you will be responsible for steering our cloud infrastructure strategy to ensure high availability, security, and scalability for our platform. Your primary responsibilities will include: Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture: You will design, implement, and manage a scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient AWS cloud infrastructure. Additionally, you will architect and optimize multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies as required to meet our needs. Your role will also involve ensuring 24x7 availability, high performance, and security of backend services supporting TV hardware, launcher, and content discovery. Security & Compliance: Implementing cloud security best practices will be a crucial aspect of your role. This includes ensuring data confidentiality, encryption, and compliance with industry standards such as NIST, GDPR, and ISO 27001. You will collaborate with security teams to monitor threat detection, IAM policies, and security audits. Defining disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies for critical infrastructure will also fall under your purview. Scalability & Performance Optimization: Your expertise will be invaluable in optimizing serverless computing, auto-scaling, container orchestration, and improving CDN strategies for low-latency content streaming and caching. You will also work on optimizing cloud cost management, budgeting, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency. DevOps & Automation: Leading the CI/CD pipeline implementation for rapid and stable software deployments will be a key aspect of your role. You will automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. Additionally, establishing monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for proactive issue resolution will be part of your responsibilities. Team Leadership & Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and data science teams to align cloud infrastructure with business objectives. Mentoring and guiding DevOps and cloud engineering teams will be essential for success in this role. Staying updated on emerging cloud technologies to enhance system performance is also expected. Key Qualifications & Skills: - Technical Expertise: You should have 8-10 years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure management. Deep expertise in AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and EKS is essential. Experience with open-source tools for monitoring, logging, and security is also required. Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), API gateways, microservices, and distributed architectures are preferred. - Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and a security-first mindset are crucial for this role. You should have the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities effectively, and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
