Cyber Security Analyst

We are Vitraya Technologies Private Limited, an IT product-based company specializing in delivering innovative software solutions to the insurance industry. Given our focus on the insurance sector, we require professionals with a medical background or a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.

Role Overview

As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for safeguarding Vitraya’s applications, infrastructure, and data assets. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams to implement robust security measures, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive information security program.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc. as applicable).
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with product and DevOps teams to embed security best practices in SDLC.
• Manage IAM (Identity & Access Management) policies, encryption, and data protection mechanisms.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Evaluate and recommend new security tools, technologies, and policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, and encryption techniques.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.).
• Familiarity with secure coding practices, DevSecOps, and API security.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• A relevant degree in cybersecurity.
