Customer Service Officer

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Officer is responsible for delivering excellent service and support to bank customers, ensuring a seamless branch experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction & Support

• Greet and assist customers visiting the branch in a courteous and professional manner.
  
• Handle customer inquiries related to savings/current accounts, deposits, loans, credit cards, and other banking services.
  
• Provide accurate information on products, services, and digital banking channels.

Operational Responsibilities

• Process requests for account opening, closure, cheque books, fund transfers, standing instructions, and account modifications.
  
• Ensure all customer service transactions are recorded accurately and comply with internal controls.

Compliance & Quality

• Adhere to RBI, AML, and KYC guidelines during customer interactions and documentation.
  
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
  
• Participate in customer feedback surveys and initiatives to improve branch service quality.
