Job Description

This Position reports to:

Production Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and skilled teams with the aim to meet customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase by collaborating with local functions that contribute to the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for high-quality performance.

This role is contributing to the Electrification in Smart Power

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Developing and maintaining Quality Plans, Control Plans, and inspection checklists, while deriving Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters and establishing Q-gates.
  • Monitoring and analyzing First Pass Yield metrics to identify and implement improvements in product quality and production efficiency.
  • Analyzing customer complaints and defects, determining root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions using DMAIC, 8D, and other quality methodologies.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams during customer audits, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and certification audits (IEC, ISO), and interacting with field and factory teams to ensure resolution of quality issues.
Qualifications for the role:
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in quality management or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and high-power 3-phase systems, especially for data centers and critical power applications.
  • Skilled in quality tools such as FMEA, 7 QC tools, 5S, 5Why, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, DMAIC, and 8D Root Cause Analysis.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and use of PCBA programming tools.
  • Practical experience with power meters, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition systems.
  • Demonstrated capability in process improvement, defect analysis, and lean methodologies.
  • Fluent in English with effective communication and analytical skills.
