Customer Development Executive

As a Sales Manager at Colgate-Palmolive in the Modern Trade zone, your role is crucial in ensuring the width and depth of distribution of CP products. By implementing company strategies effectively, you will contribute to achieving sales and distribution objectives within the assigned zone. Key Responsibilities: - Drive Business Growth: - Achieve Colgate Palmolive Sales (CPS) and Sales To Trade (STT) targets monthly - Implement GTMs on Focus Brands, Share of Business, and efficiency parameters - Managing Customer Relationships: - Maintain a balanced relationship with customers, stockists, and store managers - In-store Execution: - Strategize and execute plans to maximize product visibility in stores - Inventory Management: - Ensure optimal stock availability through accurate planning and Minimum Base Quantity (MBQ) setting for each customer - Handle Trade Promotion Claims efficiently - Analytics and Data-Based Decision Making: - Utilize data to enhance overall business performance - Analyze market data, distribution metrics, and business trends to identify growth opportunities - Lead and Develop Resources: - Schedule work for stockist sales associates, merchandisers, and champions - Provide training interventions to enhance team capabilities - Monitor team performance, offer support, and solutions when necessary - Ensure effective communication of trade promotions to the team Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience in Consumer Durables Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (CD FMCG) industry - Experience in handling Standalone Modern Trade (SAMT) customers Colgate-Palmolive is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is valued, and all individuals feel respected and empowered to contribute meaningfully to the business.
