Key Responsibilities:

1. Import Clearance Management

• Manage end-to-end

  PAG (Prior Assessment Group)

  and

  FAG (Faceless Assessment Group)

  import clearance operations.
• Coordinate with

  customs officials

  for timely clearance and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with

  ICEGATE

  ,

  EDI systems

  , and

  DGFT notifications

  .

2. Warehousing & Documentation

• Supervise warehouse entries and ensure adherence to the

  Customs Act

  ,

  Warehousing Bill

  , and

  bonded cargo procedures

  .
• Liaise with

  port and warehouse operators

  for safe handling, movement, and storage.
• Handle key documentation including

  Bill of Entry (BOE)

  ,

  IGM amendments

  ,

  examination memos

  , and

  release orders

  .

3. Regulatory Compliance

• Stay updated on regulatory guidelines of

  FSSAI

  ,

  Plant Quarantine (PQ)

  ,

  ADC (Drugs & Chemicals)

  , and other allied agencies.
• Obtain necessary

  NOCs and clearances

  from applicable departments.
• Ensure all import operations comply with current

  EXIM policy

  ,

  Foreign Trade Policy (FTP)

  , and

  DGFT

  guidelines.

4. Vendor & Client Coordination

• Communicate effectively with

  shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHAs

  , and

  transport vendors

  .
• Troubleshoot and resolve delays or discrepancies in shipments and documentation.
• Maintain strong rapport with

  corporate clients

  and ensure strict

  SLA adherence

  .

5. Team & Process Management

• Lead a team of

  documentation executives

  and

  customs clearance staff

  .
• Prepare and maintain

  MIS reports

  ,

  KPI dashboards

  , and perform

  cost control analysis

  .
• Optimize clearance processes for operational efficiency and compliance.

Job Requirements

• Minimum

  15 years

  of experience in

  Customs Brokerage / CHA / Logistics / Import Clearance

  industry.
• In-depth experience with

  PAG & FAG

  procedures.
• Strong knowledge of

  Customs Tariff

  ,

  Import Duty Structures

  ,

  Foreign Trade Policy (FTP)

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  ICEGATE

  ,

  EDI systems

  , and documentation flow.
