Job Title: Curriculum & Instructional Design Head EdTech Location: Remote (Work From Home) Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 2 to 10 Years Industry: EdTech / E-learning / Online Education Functional Area: Teaching, Education, Training, Counselling Role Category: Training & Development Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Curriculum & Instructional Design Head to lead the development of industry-aligned, job-ready courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and curriculum development for digital platforms like Internshala, Simplilearn, upGrad, or similar. Key Responsibilities: Design and lead development of job-ready programs for roles such as Virtual Assistant (VA), Social Media Manager (SMM), HR Operations, Customer Support Executive, etc. Align curriculum with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hiring requirements of leading enterprises (e.g., Accenture, HSBC, Tata). Define and track learning outcomes , develop live & recorded content modules, create assessments, and implement continuous feedback mechanisms. Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to build real-world learning simulations and practical training content. Establish robust certification frameworks and job placement readiness rubrics to enhance learner employability. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Learner course completion rates Placement & income growth post-program Employer satisfaction with trained candidates Key Skills: Instructional Design (ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy, OBE) Curriculum Development (Job-oriented, industry-driven) Learning Management Systems (Moodle, Teachable, Canvas) Live & Recorded Content Planning Assessment & Feedback Strategy Collaboration with SMEs Certification & Skill Validation Frameworks Learning Analytics & Reporting Stakeholder Engagement (Recruiters, Hiring Partners) Project Management (Asana, Trello, Jira) Preferred Background: Prior experience at EdTech platforms like Internshala, Simplilearn, Coursera, upGrad, etc. Proven record of designing high-impact career-skilling programs Exposure to DEI-centric hiring pipelines and enterprise L&D partnerships
