Curriculum Designer - SST

You are looking for a Curriculum Designer/ Subject Matter Expert for Social Studies/ Humanities for one of your US-based K12 clients. As a Curriculum Designer/ Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for applying content knowledge and instructional design principles to create digital and print instructional materials across products, subject areas, and grade levels. Additionally, you will provide support for reviewing and resolving curriculum-specific client issues. You must hold a Bachelor's degree in education or a specific subject area in Social Studies. Impeccable writing and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail are essential. Strong research and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to complete simple and complex projects, prioritize multiple deliverables, and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills are also crucial for this role. You should have a working experience of 4 - 9 years in teaching or developing the US curriculum for K-12 grades. Technical skills include providing content and standards expertise in creating effective instructional/assessment materials, analyzing standards to develop project content-planning documents, writing and editing educational materials, and ensuring consistent application of instructional design guidelines. Setting priorities to meet deadlines, updating and revising existing content development documentation are also part of the job responsibilities. Key job functions include triaging curriculum-specific client issues, providing 2nd-tier support for content for customers, resolving curriculum-specific bugs, reporting defects, interacting with internal teams to resolve issues, and contributing to projects on multiple products outside the primary area of expertise.
