Curriculum and Content Designer

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Curriculum and Content Designer who can seamlessly blend creativity, pedagogy, and technology to craft engaging, AI-driven learning experiences for children.

In this role, you will design and refine age-appropriate educational content, prompts, and interactions that align with learning goals and principles of child development. You will work closely with the Content Manager and the Interaction Design Head to ensure every learning experience is pedagogically sound, engaging, and fun.

What You’ll Do

• Design engaging learning experiences for children aged 5 -10, combining creativity, pedagogy, and child psychology.

• Take ownership of an assigned AI feature and drive it from end to end. (e.g., learning experiences, feedback, or grading): what it does, the pedagogy it supports, and how it works from an AI perspective.

• Research and write creative, factual, and age-appropriate content aligned with learning objectives.

• Draft and refine AI prompts and examples, including identifying ideal outputs and common pitfalls that can be addressed to optimise performance.

• Evaluate and improve AI responses to ensure they are accurate, empathetic, and child-friendly.

• Collaborate closely with the Content Manager to plan, review, and iterate on learning content.

• Coordinate with the Interaction Design Head to align tone, flow, and interaction style for a cohesive child experience.

• Document learnings and prompt structures, ensuring content systems are easy to test, scale, and refine over time.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Child Development, Child Psychology or related field.

• Strong understanding of early learning pedagogy and curriculum design.

• Excellent English writing and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience creating learning content or designing child-focused educational experiences.

• Familiarity with AI tools and conversational content design.

• Understanding of child development and learning motivation for ages 5 -10.
