Current Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire new

  Current Account

  customers, with a focus on

  proprietary firms

  , stockbrokers, traders, and other self-employed professionals.
• Conduct in-depth profiling to understand client needs and offer suitable product solutions.
• Ensure

  end-to-end account opening

  , including documentation, due diligence, and activation.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure account utilization and cross-sell of banking products (CMS, POS, FD, Trade, etc.).
• Liaise with internal operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Ensure adherence to

  RBI and internal KYC/AML norms

  , especially for non-individual and high-risk entity types.
• Conduct periodic customer visits and track transactions to identify upselling opportunities.
• Maintain MIS and provide regular updates to reporting managers on achievements and pipeline.

Key Requirements:

• Experience:

  Minimum 2–4 years in liability sales or current account management, preferably with exposure to

  proprietary accounts

  or

  brokerage client onboarding

• Education:

  Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
• Strong understanding of

  banking products

  ,

  business entity documentation

  , and

  financial statements

• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
• Knowledge of local Kolkata market and business hubs is a plus.
