As a Cross Border Controls at Barclays, you will embark on a transformative journey to spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Your role will involve harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. You must have an understanding of multiple Cross Asset products and attention to detail to resolve complex queries. Being organized, prioritizing tasks effectively, taking ownership of requests, and meeting deadlines are key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Understanding and managing Cross Border Regulatory reporting - Following up on Regulatory submissions and Client outreach - Conducting Analytics and MI reporting - Collaborating with stakeholders to run Markets CCO initiatives - Engaging in re-workings of outdated/inefficient processes and challenging existing procedures - Addressing and responding to issues from internal sales teams or internal infrastructure teams in a timely manner - Providing timely MI to assist the desk in responding to client and regulatory requests Qualifications Required: - Relevant years of experience in supporting Regulatory/Controls/Sales or Front Office role - Ability to comprehend complex concepts and conditions related to regulatory requirements - Strong understanding of Investment Banking Regulations - Exposure to various products in Markets business - Attention to detail and structured approach to handle activities - Proficiency in PowerPoint presentation skills - Understanding of VBA & excel functionalities - Comfort with analyzing, problem-solving, and producing efficient statistics with large data sets - Initiative and confidence in collaborative teamwork - Strong written and verbal communication skills The job location for this role is Chennai. Purpose of the role: To assess the integrity and effectiveness of the bank's internal control framework to support the mitigation of risk and protection of operational, financial, and reputational risk.
