Credit Underwriter

You will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other data to evaluate the creditworthiness of individuals. Your role will involve preparing detailed credit reports and risk assessments, along with recommendations for credit approval, modification, or denial. Monitoring existing accounts for changes in financial position or potential credit risk exposure will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, conducting industry and market research to support credit decisions and collaborating with sales, legal, and operations teams to ensure timely processing of credit applications and renewals will be essential. Ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and external regulatory guidelines will be crucial in this role. You will also assist in the development of credit scoring models and risk mitigation strategies while maintaining accurate records of credit decisions and documentation.
