Credit Risk Analyst - Officer

As a Credit Risk Analyst at Citi, you will play a crucial role in assessing the credit and financial strength of Citis counterparts by performing fundamental credit analysis. You will be responsible for owning the Credit Risk Analysis for a portfolio of ICG Risk Relationships, including producing Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, and supporting Ad-Hoc Transactions and Portfolio & Industry Reviews and Stress Testing. Additionally, you will continuously monitor the covered portfolio, follow industry trends, escalate potential credit issues, and collaborate with stakeholders in BCMA and Independent Risk to implement credit assessment and monitoring standards. Your role will also involve supporting ICM Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives, with occasional travel of less than 10%. Key Responsibilities: - Assess the credit and financial strength of Citis counterparts through fundamental credit analysis using quantitative and qualitative factors - Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings based on independent assessment and due diligence - Monitor the covered portfolio, follow industry trends, and escalate potential credit issues - Partner with regional and industry stakeholders to implement credit assessment and monitoring standards - Support ICM Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives Qualifications: - BA/BSc or higher degree in Business (MBA) or related subject - Basic underwriting knowledge in invoice/account receivable financing and supply chain finance preferred - Fundamental analytical skills with an understanding of key financial components - Basic industry research capabilities and knowledge of financial statements and GAAP accounting - Ability to identify potential risk issues, escalate promptly, and assist in elevating individual and team performance Working at Citi offers more than just a job; it means joining a global family of dedicated individuals.
