Job Description

Role & responsibilities oversees the creditworthiness of borrowers taking out loans secured by securities. They evaluate loan applications, assess risks, and ensure compliance with lending regulations and company policies. This role also involves managing a portfolio of LAS loans, including monitoring performance, managing delinquencies, and preparing reports for management. Key Responsibilities: Credit Appraisal: Evaluate loan applications, analyze financial statements, and assess the risk associated with the underlying securities. Underwriting: Ensure loan proposals meet underwriting standards and credit policies. Portfolio Management: Monitor loan performance, manage delinquencies, and ensure compliance with loan covenants and security cover stipulations. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with LAS loans and develop strategies for mitigation. Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. Documentation: Prepare and review loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Reporting: Generate reports on loan portfolio performance, credit risk, and other relevant metrics. Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and legal teams to facilitate loan disbursement.
