Credit Manager

Role Overview: As a Credit Manager at Narsaraopet, Guntur, Narasaraopet, Andhra Pradesh, India, your main responsibility will involve evaluating credit proposals to assess financial, business, and industrial risk for loan decisioning. You will also be responsible for verifying borrowers' track record and determining their credit worthiness. Additionally, you will analyze the financial statements of potential customers to evaluate their short-term and long-term solvency and liquidity positions. Understanding customer requirements and ensuring prompt service delivery will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Set up an audit framework and conduct audits, ensuring closure of identified items. - Perform basic analytics and generate MIS reports for various stakeholders. - Monitor and enforce approval rate and Turnaround Time (TAT) as per specified standards. - Manage vendors effectively to support credit operations. Qualifications Required: - CA or MBA in Finance. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in SME credit. - Familiarity with the local geography and industry. - Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits.
