Role Overview: Join Schindler India as an Assistant / Deputy Manager - NWC where you will play a crucial role in managing Net Working Capital and Credit Control, ensuring efficient financial processes and enhancing customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Have complete knowledge of Net Working Capital and Credit Control, overseeing the process from Order to Cash. - Manage internal stakeholders to control Accounts Receivable, including follow-ups with customers through various communication channels. - Travel frequently to customer locations with stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues for Accounts and Key Account customers. - Proactively contact predefined customers to identify potential issues early on, prioritize collections based on customer risk profiles and past due amounts. - Ensure customers are included in the automated dunning run and seek approval for exclusion when necessary. - Keep reconciliations up to date and include write-offs (Escheatment where applicable) in monthly activities. - Possess detailed knowledge of Indian Direct and Indirect taxes, handle legal aspects of outstanding collections, and interact with the Legal Team. - Provide remittance advice to the cash application team and ensure proactive sharing of remittances by customers. Qualifications Required: - MBA in finance, accounting, or a related discipline with knowledge of basic accounting principles and cash collection processes. - 4 or more years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in credit/collections, Direct & Indirect Taxation. - Excellent credit skills for risk assessment of financial information. - Fluency in English with proficiency in the local language. - Analytical mindset with strong financial acumen. - Good organizational and problem-solving skills. - Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks. - Strong oral, written, and presentation skills for effective communication with internal and external customers. - Proficiency in Excel and SAP for PC skills is a must.
