Credit Analyst

You will be responsible for supporting global Credit Analyst(s) in analyzing the performance of a portfolio of structured finance and public finance transactions, as well as responding to credit events. This includes preparing internal credit research reports and notes, and assisting in preparing publishable credit reports. You must have an in-depth understanding of transaction documents such as Offering Circular, Indenture, Letter of Credit Agreement, Tender bonds, and Commercial papers to comprehend the structure and features of the deals. It will be your responsibility to track and understand Structured Finance & US Public Finance (USPF) sector dynamics and regulatory trends. This involves analyzing macroeconomic parameters impacting the sector, evaluating the impact of regulatory and legal frameworks on the sector portfolio, and conducting qualitative & quantitative analysis of the primary and secondary market debt portfolio. You should stay updated on the latest developments in the Structured Finance & US Public finance market and be able to comment on their potential impact. In terms of process adherence, you will need to focus on review/QC, add analytical inputs when required, and create and maintain base-level training, process manuals, and documentation to ensure smooth execution of tasks. You must adopt defined processes in the day-to-day execution of assignments, identify process improvement avenues, and ensure that new knowledge gained is retained and documented through operating manuals. Collaboration with other teams to suggest methods for making the current process more efficient is essential. Client and stakeholder management are crucial aspects of this role. You will be expected to build and maintain relationships with US & EMEA clients, set expectations regarding the scope of work and timelines for routine tasks. Additionally, you will provide analytical mentoring to junior team members, implement team-level initiatives, and familiarize new recruits with the team and organization. Lastly, strict adherence to Compliance, Confidentiality, and Information Security Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines of the Organization is paramount.,
