Credit Analyst

Job Description: As a Credit Analyst, your role involves reviewing borrower applications, financial documents, and credit reports to determine loan eligibility. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of credit assessments, decisions, and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies, Canadian lending regulations, and privacy laws. Collaborating with lending specialists and compliance teams to resolve application discrepancies is a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will monitor loan application trends and credit performance, persuading borrowers to advance to the next stage of the application process. It is essential to escalate high-risk applications or potential fraud cases for further investigation and contribute to the development of credit policies, risk models, and underwriting procedures.
