Creative Head & Brand Strategist (D2C)

Jewellery & Lifestyle Brand

Brand: Womilys (Premium Imitation Jewellery | D2C + Omnichannel)
Experience: 1–2+ Years
Location: On-site (Delhi NCR preferred) | Remote possible for the right fit
Type: Full-Time | Leadership Role

Role Overview

Womilys is building India’s most aspirational premium imitation jewellery brand for modern women.

We are looking for a Creative Head & Brand Strategist who will own the brand narrative end-to-end — from visual identity and storytelling to campaign ideation and long-term brand equity.

This is not a pure design role.

This is a brand leadership role for someone who understands emotion, culture, consumer psychology, and performance — and can translate them into scalable creative systems.

You will work directly with the Founder and leadership team to shape how Womilys looks, feels, speaks, and grows.

Key Responsibilities1. Brand Strategy & Positioning (Core Ownership)

  • Define and evolve Womilys’ brand positioning, tone of voice, and visual philosophy
  • Build a clear brand narrative that balances:
  • Aspiration × Affordability
  • Emotion × Performance

Tradition × Modern India

  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints:

Website, ads, social, packaging, offline stores, influencer content, CRM2. Creative Direction (Visual + Conceptual)

  • Lead the creative direction for:
  • Product launches & collections
  • Festive campaigns (Diwali, Wedding season, Rakhi, Valentine’s, etc.)
  • Always-on performance creatives
  • Approve and guide:
  • Photoshoots (models, styling, moodboards, references)
  • Video concepts (UGC, reels, ads, storytelling films)
  • Graphics, typography, color systems, layouts
  • Ensure every creative asset feels premium, feminine, and emotionally resonant

3. Hands-on Editing, Photography & Videography (Must-Have)

  • Strong hands-on skills in:
  • Photo & video editing (for social, ads, and brand content)
  • Basic to advanced product photography & videography
  • Ability to independently plan and execute shoots when required:
  • Product shoots
  • Social media content
  • Reels, UGC-style videos, behind-the-scenes, quick campaigns
  • Comfortable shooting with minimal setups and working fast in a D2C environment
  • Collaborate with external photographers/videographers when scale demands, but able to self-execute when needed

4. Performance-Led Creativity (D2C Mindset)

  • Work closely with Performance Marketing & Growth teams
  • Translate data (CTR, CVR, ROAS, retention) into:
  • Better hooks
  • Stronger storytelling
  • Scalable creative frameworks
  • Build creative systems, not just one-off campaigns:
  • UGC frameworks
  • Ad angles
  • Storytelling templates
  • Launch playbooks

5. Team Leadership & Creative Ops

  • Lead and mentor:
  • Designers
  • Video editors
  • Freelancers & agencies
  • Create clear SOPs & workflows for:
  • Briefing
  • Reviews
  • Asset production
  • Versioning & scaling
  • Ensure speed without compromising quality

6. Culture, Community & Brand Love

  • Shape how Womilys shows up on:
  • Instagram, WhatsApp, influencer content, offline branding
  • Build emotional loyalty, not just sales:
  • Customer stories
  • Brand moments
  • Founder-led storytelling
  • Act as the guardian of brand cultureWho We’re Looking ForMust-Have Experience
  • 1–2+ years in Brand Strategy / Creative Leadership
  • Strong background in D2C brands (Fashion, Beauty, Jewellery, Lifestyle)
  • Proven experience building aspirational consumer brands in India
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Indian female consumer psychology
  • Festive buying behaviour
  • Influencer & social-first storytelling

Skill Set

  • Exceptional visual taste & storytelling instinct
  • Strong editing + photography/videography skills
  • Ability to think long-term brand + short-term performance
  • Comfortable with:
  • Performance marketing collaboration
  • Data-informed creative decisions
  • Strong communication & leadership skills
