Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Creative Copywriter located in Delhi, India. The Creative Copywriter will be responsible for developing creative concepts and writing engaging copy for various digital platforms. Daily tasks include writing web content, creating advertising copy, collaborating with designers and marketers, and ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines. The role requires a blend of creativity and strategic thinking to produce compelling messaging for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

I. Creative Copywriting:

  • Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for ads across formats — TV, radio, digital, print, OOH, social media, etc.

  • Craft campaign slogans, taglines, headlines, and scripts that capture the essence of the brand and message.

II. Concept Development:

  • Collaborate with art directors and creative teams to develop integrated campaign ideas from scratch.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to creative pitches.

III. Client & Brand Understanding:

  • Grasp the tone, voice, and positioning of different brands.

  • Adapt writing style to suit different audiences, products, and campaign objectives.

IV. Content Adaptation:

  • Repurpose and adapt messaging for different platforms, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.

  • Ensure brand guidelines and tone are followed across all communications.

V. Editing & Proofreading:

  • Review and refine copy to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and creative impact.

  • Self-edit and improve drafts based on feedback.

VI. Research & Trend Analysis:

  • Stay informed about the latest advertising trends, pop culture, and industry innovations.

  • Research competitors and market trends to inform stronger copy and creative angles.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in copywriting within an advertising agency or creative environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing copy for ads, campaigns, taglines, and content across platforms.
  • Excellent command of language, grammar, and tone.
  • Ability to present and justify copy decisions clearly.
