Reports To: Regional Director / VP of International Operations

Role Overview:
The Country Head will oversee business development, B2B sales, and importer communication across multiple African regions. This role focuses on driving sales, managing relationships with distributors, and collaborating with R&D teams to adapt products to local markets while ensuring compliance with regional regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • B2B Sales & Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales across multiple African countries, targeting key customers in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
  • Importer Communication & Negotiation: Manage relationships with importers and distributors, negotiating favorable terms for long-term partnerships.
  • R&D Collaboration: Work with R&D teams to adapt products for the local market and ensure compliance with regional standards.
  • Market Strategy & Execution: Analyze market trends and adapt marketing strategies to local cultures and languages.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor sales and marketing teams, setting targets and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, importer relations, and business development in the pharma and cosmetics industry.
  • Strong track record in negotiations, driving sales, and managing teams.
  • Experience collaborating with R&D to adapt products for local markets.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French and local languages is a plus
