Counsellor Overseas Education

As a Consultant at Leverage Edu's Experience Centre, you will be a student-first mentor, assisting students in their study abroad journey. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of students, providing expert guidance on university admissions processes, establishing and maintaining relationships with students, tracking application progress, coordinating post-offer processes, and executing sales strategies effectively during intake cycles. Key Responsibilities: - Ownership of Student Journey: Manage student onboarding, detailed counseling, follow-ups, and ensure overall success. - Expert Guidance: Develop a deep understanding of university admissions processes, intake cycles, and eligibility requirements. - Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with students as their dedicated coach for admission-related guidance. - Application Progress Tracking: Regularly review and track student applications to identify and resolve bottlenecks. - Post-Offer Coordination: Collaborate with Visa team and international offices for timely outcomes. - Sales Strategy Execution: Implement effective sales strategies and meet target numbers during intake cycles. Qualifications Required: - A graduate/MBA degree in business, management, psychology, or related field. - 1 to 5 years of experience (ed-tech experience is a plus). - Strong sales and negotiation skills with a student-first mindset. - Exceptional research abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective persuasion and guidance. - Strong multitasking and project management skills to work under tight deadlines.
