Job Description

As a Counsellor at NAMTECH, located in Anand, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students throughout their academic and career journeys. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding students" aspirations and challenges - Providing personalized career advice - Conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions - Liaising with faculty and administrative departments as necessary - Organizing workshops to promote mental wellness and growth To excel in this role, you should have: - Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills - Expertise in career counseling, academic advising, and student development - Proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and critical thinking - Experience in conducting workshops or seminars focused on student wellness - Knowledge of educational frameworks, mental health awareness, and student support strategies While a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field is preferable, prior experience as a student/academic counselor or in a similar role will be advantageous. You should also be able to collaborate effectively with a diverse team in an academic setting.,
