Counsellor

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic counselling and motivational support to students to foster confidence and trust.
• Conduct scheduled check-ins through calls, digital meetings, and in-person sessions to monitor student progress.
• Motivate students to actively participate in training programs, interviews, and employment opportunities.
• Deliver personalized career guidance and structured development counselling tailored to individual student needs.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of counselling sessions, call logs, and student progress reports.
• Serve as a trusted mentoraddressing student concerns, sharing motivation, and providing practical guidance.
• Build positive relationships and a supportive environment where students feel encouraged and valued.
• Stay connected with students through continuous follow-up, tracking their career journey and achievements.
• Use digital tools (MS Excel, Google Sheets, Teams/Meet) for engagement, reporting, and communication.
• Inspire and empower young people to believe in themselves and work toward successful careers.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate / Postgraduate with 15 years of experience in counselling, mentoring, teaching, or youth engagement.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in Marathi will be an added advantage.
• Empathetic, patient, and approachable with excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and coach students through challenges and career transitions.
• Skilled in maintaining accurate records, reports, and student documentation.
• Comfortable using digital tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Teams/Meet) for student management and reporting.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to consistent student engagement.
• Passionate about working with young people and making a positive social impact.
• A pleasing personality with a genuine interest in guiding youth toward employability and growth.
