You will be responsible for To collate and verify the statutory documents declared by the Agents/Suppliers to HMRC - To prepare reconciliation and pass journal entries on time - To maintain a file recording the line level details of the declaration which will help us in matching accruals with payments - To query and solve the open issues which might range from incorrect declarations to wrong accruals/wrong payments/refunds to be claimed - To build a good rapport with the partners/suppliers/Agents to see that the issues are resolved on time - To gather all the necessary data to claim the duty drawback claim from HMRC - Preparation of control summary and supporting during the audit - Validating HTS codes and assigning HTS codes to the new lines for all the categories - Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence - Understands business needs and in-depth understanding of Tesco processes - Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge by applying CI tools and techniques - Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed metrics You will need Basic Understanding of Accounting Concepts, Tax and VAT Analytical and logical skills Familiar with online tariff classifications tools Good Communication Stake holder management Basic customs acumen on valuation and origin rules and regulations.
