Global description

Purpose of the Role

"1) Building & Infrastructure Cost ratio Related work for Global FIBE projects

2) Discuss and follow up with all regional plant project teams (globally) to collect the final quotes, additional order costs, and PCO ratio for regular updates to the Cost Book.

3) Discuss with global regional plant project teams to understand the anticipated scope of work for cost estimation and Capex approval. Analyze cost ratios and identify opportunities for cost-optimized solutions across global projects.

4) Extract the area of each shop from various plants globally using AutoCAD drawings and compile the area statement data as per the standard format"

Key Job Responsibilities

Individually handle the cost ratio preparation work for various packages involved in various region project's globally

Understand the requirement from the global team

Responsible for do the complete study and understand the scope of work from the Project team

Responsible for collect the information from the various region plant and update the cost reference data base.

Cost breakup/ cost ratio details report shall be share with global team.

Responsible for validate the cost estimation and capex approval request from the various plant team (Globally)

Responsible for suggest the alternative option to reduce the cost if any opportunity

Additional responsibility to support for the KPI 20 Activity with the Auto cadd skill

Key Skills

English level : Fluent

Knowledge in computer handling skill

Knowledge in Ms office- Excel software using skill

Knowledge in Auto cadd software using skill

Knowledge in using Quantity survey applications software is added advantage

Knowledge in Building & infrastructure related works Bill of Quantties

Knowledge in understanding of the various types of works Bills of Quantities and the ability to provide a logical conclusion.

Knowledge in current market rates for all the various items invloved In the Building and infrastructure works

Hands-on experience in Industrial projects especially in running plant

Hands-on experience in project management part either client side or consultant side .

Hands-on experience in preparing the Cost estimation and evaluate the cost estimate.

Knowledge in understanding the costing related terms in all type of work(civil, electrical & Mechanical etc.,)

Experience 5 - 10 years Experience

Competencies

Behavioural Skills Bachelors Degree with 5- 10 Years experience in Quantity survey Experience (Cost Estimation/Billing/ Tendering) for Industrial Building from User side or consultant side or contractor side

Willingness to work in shifts, extending work hours (when necessary), week ends etc.

Willingness to accept other job responsibilities as and when needed (Drafting / Modifying the cadd Drawing )

Willingness to apprehend the specifities of a competitive industry with costs contraints and huge challenges for mutation

Curiosity, autonomy & rigor and leadership are keys for success

Capacity to onboard and convince our partners is an add-on (synthetic approach)
