Costing Executive

Role Overview: As a Costing & Pricing Specialist, your primary role will be to prepare product costing sheets by taking into account raw material, labor, overheads, and logistics. You will analyze cost variations and propose competitive yet profitable pricing strategies. Additionally, you will assist in creating quotations and proposals for customers. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with the marketing/sales team to provide costing data, RFQs, and client commercial follow-up. - Maintain a database of costing, quotations, and pricing history for data and reporting purposes. - Liaise with production, purchase, and finance teams for updated cost inputs. - Analyze competitor pricing trends and market rates to ensure competitiveness. - Generate regular costing and margin analysis reports for management. - Support budgeting and forecasting activities with accurate costing inputs. - Communicate with vendors/suppliers for updated material and logistics costs. - Assist the sales team in client negotiations by providing accurate costing justifications. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree in Commerce / Business Administration / Finance in Manufacturing Industry preferred. - 2-3 years of experience in costing, pricing, or marketing support (manufacturing industry preferred). - Knowledge of SAP/ERP will be an added advantage. - Strong knowledge of costing, pricing, and financial analysis. - Good understanding of manufacturing/industrial processes. - Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, SAP systems, and costing software. - Strong communication and coordination skills. *Note: In addition to the specified job responsibilities and qualifications, you will be entitled to benefits such as food provision, health insurance, and provident fund.
