Cost Controller

Role Overview: At Jacobs, you will be supporting Senior Cost Controllers in developing Cost WBS structure and controlling the budget for projects based on approved estimates. You will also assist in change management, monitoring cost developments, analyzing project developments, and performing price estimation and budgeting. Additionally, you will provide planning and cost controlling support for various projects, ensure effective project implementation, forecast costs, and prepare project cost reports on a monthly basis. Your role will involve managing the financial aspects of projects, providing cost control and planning advice to project teams, and maintaining complete records of change notices. Key Responsibilities: - Support Senior Cost Controllers in developing Cost WBS structure and controlling project budgets - Assist in change management and monitoring cost developments - Analyze project developments and translate them into cost consequences - Perform price estimation and budgeting - Provide planning and cost controlling support for projects - Forecast costs and prepare project cost reports on a monthly basis - Manage the financial aspects of projects and maintain records of change notices - Provide cost control and planning advice to project teams - Perform and manage cost and risk analysis for projects - Be accountable for investment project cost and schedule Qualifications Required: - Graduate or Advanced degree in Engineering or other technical disciplines - Experience in infrastructure sector or construction industry is preferable - Knowledge in cost control tools and techniques - Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in relevant sectors - Good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders - Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively - Proactive, analytic, and able to work independently Additional Details: Jacobs values collaboration and offers a hybrid working policy that allows employees to split their work week between offices/projects and remote locations.
