Job Purpose:

To manage and optimize cost control processes for the food business by monitoring inventory, ensuring accurate menu costing, reducing wastage, and maximizing profitability through effective financial management and system-driven controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily cost control and accounting operations related to food and beverage.
• Prepare and analyze food cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability metrics.
• Develop and maintain accurate

  menu costing

  based on real-time purchase and production data.
• Monitor

  inventory levels

  , conduct stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement cost-saving measures and ensure

  minimum wastage

  of raw materials.
• Work closely with purchase and operations teams to ensure

  optimal procurement pricing

  and supplier efficiency.
• Review and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for

  cost control systems

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in

  Commerce / Finance / Cost Accounting

• 3 to 10 years

  of relevant experience in

  cost control and accounts

  , preferably in

  F&B, restaurant, or hospitality

  industry.
• Strong knowledge of

  inventory management systems, menu engineering, and cost analysis tools

  .
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in

  MS Excel

  and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP).
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, purchase, kitchen, etc.).
• Attention to detail, process- oriented, and results-driven approach.
