Cost and Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documentation for new and ongoing projects.

Conduct rate analysis, quantity surveying, and material take-offs for project cost planning.

Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and report cost variances against approved budgets.

Support in preparation of cash flow projections, cost forecasts, and budget utilization reports.

Analyze project costs and suggest measures for cost optimization and value engineering.

Ensure accurate data entry, validation, and reporting in the ERP system for budgeting and cost tracking.

Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for vendor payments, material reconciliation, and budget alignment.

Maintain cost records, budget files, and ensure documentation is audit-ready and compliant with company policies.

Support in the preparation of MIS reports, management dashboards, and project performance summaries.

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for project budgeting and tracking processes.

Strong knowledge of cost estimation, quantity surveying, and project budgeting.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics or similar) for cost and project management.

Hands-on experience with MS Excel, Power BI, and cost analysis tools.

Familiarity with contract terms, financial compliance, and project accounting principles.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
